Claudine Elliott went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 8, 2015. Claudine Melton was born in Wellington, Texas March 21, 1924. She is a native Texan and has lived in Wellington, Memphis, Littlefield, Tulia and Muleshoe, Texas.

Claudine was proceeded in death by her husband, Harmon Elliott of Muleshoe, parents Freeman Melton and Sudie Melton of Wellington, Texas, a sister, Mozelle Ham of Beeville, brothers Conrad of Amarillo and, Freeman, Jr. of Friona and a great granddaughter, Elliott Mae Cunningham of Lubbock. She is survived by her loving daughter and son, Judy Cloud and husband Curtis of Fulshear, Texas and John F. Elliott and wife, Nancy of Lubbock; 5 granddaughters and their spouses, Jenifer and Andrew Scott of Dallas, Jill and Brian McCorquodale of Fort Worth, Averi and Eric Cunningham of Lubbock, Curri and Jack Hildebrand of Grapevine and Bayli and A.J. Allegretto of Lubbock, and 9 great grandchildren, Riley and Will Scott, Gus McCorquodale, Cade and Caleb Cunningham, Hudson and Hazel Hildebrand and Evelyn and Clara Allegretto.

Claudine was the oldest living member of the Muleshoe Ladies Golf Association. Her last round of golf was played at 87 years of age.

Claudine (Nana) will always be remembered by numerous family and friends for her beauty inside and out, her delightful sense of humor, her extraordinary love and care of family and the game of golf.

Memorial services for Claudine will be held on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Muleshoe of which she was a member for the past 58 years.
