Estela died August 5, 2015 in Lubbock. She was born November 11, 1930 in Menard, Texas to Thomas and Ofelia (Navajar) Flores. She married Martin A. Fabela in Muleshoe on December 26, 1954.

Estela moved from Eden, Texas to Muleshoe in 1954. She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin in 2012; her parents; her grandmother, Antonio Flores; one brother, Thomas Flores; and two sisters, Esther Lopez and Carolina Coronado.


Survivors include two daughters, Rosemarie Anzaldua and her husband, Roy of Muleshoe, Texas and Patricia Dial of Sudan, Texas; a sister, Celia Martinez of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
