Memorial Service for Guadalupe "Lupe" T. Olivarez Age 69, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, November 6, 2015 at Bailey County Civic Center in Muleshoe with Doroteo Barron of Muleshoe and Ricardo Mazarigo of Progress, Texas officiating. Lupe died November 3, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born May 10, 1946 in Bryan, Texas to Salvador and Guadalupe (Torres) Olivarez. He married Patricia Delgado on February 15, 2002.

Lupe moved from Caldwell, Texas to Muleshoe in 1954. He started and owned O&C Erection. He was a member of Centro Christiano Alabanza Unida in Muleshoe, and was very involved in his church. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Salvador “Chava” Olivarez; a sister, Anita O. Barelas; and a brother, Pablo Olivarez.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; six sons, Adam Rodriguez Olivarez of San Angelo, Texas, Andrew Olivarez of Muleshoe, Texas, Jaime Olivarez of Mansfield, Texas, Guadalupe Olivarez, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, Pablo Olivarez of Muleshoe, Texas and Luis Delgado of Texico, New Mexico; five daughters, Rosa Irma Gonzales of Sudan, Texas, Kika Sena of Houston, Texas, Selene Delgado of Amarillo, Texas, Miriam Olmos of Progress, Texas and Brenda Delgado of Lubbock, Texas; five brothers, Salvador “Sam” Olivares of Midland, Texas, Salvador “Sal” Olivarez of Houston, Texas, Julio Olivarez of Dallas, Texas, Ysabell Chavelo Olivarez of Kalamazoo, Michigan and John Garth of Hereford, Texas; twenty-nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
