Obituary for Mable Manette Nieman (Reynolds)

Mable Manette Nieman (Reynolds)
Graveside services for Mable Nieman, 91, of Muleshoe will be held Monday, February 8, at Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery with her grandchildren and Chaplin Elizabeth Holder officiating and under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Mable died on Thursday, February 4, 2016, in Muleshoe. She was born February 24, 1924, in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma to Emma Hardin and Charles Reynolds. She married Marvin Nieman in Lamesa on August 19, 1942. They were married almost 72 years. She had one son, George Nieman, born July 16, 1944.
Mable was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a homemaker and loved her son and grandchildren. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and friends and play games like 42 or Skip-Bo. She loved children, especially babies, not just her own, but she was like a grandmother to many.
Mable had an unforgettable personality. She loved people deeply and made us all laugh with her “Mable-isms!” On a daily basis, her ornery side would come out and touch someone. Even those people couldn’t help but love her. She was a uniquely precious soul and our world won’t be the same without her. “We love you and will miss you, Granny!”
She is survived by her son – George Nieman of Muleshoe and wife Dianne; her 4 grandchildren – Shannon McMahon & husband Mark McMahon, Deborah Hailey, Shawn Nieman & Charles Riegel; her eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great granddaughters.
Memorials in memory of Mable, may be sent to Bailey County Meals on Wheels, 300 S. First St, Muleshoe TX 79347 or Oneita Wagnon Senior Center, P.O. Box 292, Muleshoe TX 79347.
