Naomi died July 16, 2016 in Lubbock. She was born May 16, 1935 in Littlefield to Ruel and Ola (Mealer) Fanning. She Married Doug Foster February 11, 2003. Naomi was preceded in death by her first husband Calvin Wood in 1993.

Naomi had lived in Lubbock since 2003 moving from Earth, TX. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Lubbock.

Survivors include her husband Doug Foster of Lubbock, TX. One son Hal Wood and his wife Linda of Muleshoe, TX. One daughter Jennifer Wood of San Angelo, TX. Two Step daughters Sherri Fulkerson and her husband Benny of Norman, Ok., and Melinda Dustmann also of Norman, Ok. Five Grandchildren Ellen Richards, Laura Wood, Jenna Wood, Breanna Beach, Keaton Beach. Three step Grandchildren Katy Love, Alexandra Dustmann, and Morgan Dustmann. Three Great Grandchildren. Naomi was preceded in death by a son Cliff Wood March 31, 2013.
