Church Service for Pete Flores Age 51, of Morton, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Morton with Rev. Lyndall Fletcher of officiating. Pete died Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Lubbock. He was born April 14, 1965 in Levelland, Texas.

Pete was a long-time resident of Morton, Texas. He worked as a roughneck and later became a well site supervisor. He loved to cook and BBQ; and most of all loved his family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Florentina Perez.

Survivors include his sons, Dustin Compton and his wife, Melissa of Abilene, Texas, Peter Flores Jr. of Abilene, Texas and Samson Flores of Arizona; his two daughters, Destiny Flores of Abilene, Texas and Kyran and Angelina Flores of Arizona; his parents, Lester and Alma Ware of Morton, Texas; three sisters, Nelda Whitman and her husband, Johnny of Heflin, Alabama, Sylvia Thomas and her husband, Ray of Idalou, Texas and Jana Hopson and her husband, Kenny of Earth, Texas; a brother, Johnny Bartosiewicz and his wife, Donna of Temple, Texas; and five grandchildren.
