Church Service for Maria de la Luz Jasso Age 76, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Templo El Buen Pastor with Pastor Ruben Acevedo of Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park. Maria died Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Muleshoe. She was born June 15, 1940 in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico.

Maria was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Josefina Garcia; her parents; a sister, Esperanza Jasso; four brothers, Martin Jasso, Miguel Jasso, Roman Jasso and Feliciano Jasso; and one great grandson.

Survivors include, three sons, Jose Ibarra and his wife, Martha of Cleburne, Texas, Francisco Ybarra and his wife, Christi of Canyon, Texas and Robert Ibarra and his wife, Stacey of Cleburne, Texas; one daughter, Juanita Carpenter and her husband, Joseph of Muleshoe, Texas; a sister, Epimenia Jasso of San Bernardino, California; two brothers, Moises Jasso of Indio, California and Jesus Jasso of San Bernardino, California; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, 3511 – 10th Street, Lubbock, Texas, 79415.
