Obituary for Elizabeth "Libbie" Virginia Kuehler (Banning)
Elizabeth Virginia (Libbie) Banning Kuehler died Monday, December 4, 2017 in Lubbock. She was born January 31, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama to Mack Wooten and Mae (Johnson) Banning. She married Rory Kuehler on February 6, 1972 in Morton, Texas.
Libbie is preceded in death by her son, Willis Neal Kuehler; her parents; and her brother, Ricky Banning.
Libbie is survived by her husband, Rory; her two sons, Greg Thorn and his wife, Miranda of Sudan, Texas and Michael Kuehler and his wife, Jill of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter-in-law, Carrie Kuehler; her brother, Dennis Murphy of Morton, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Kristina, Elora, Angelina, Kaden, Austin, Ben and Kate.
The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 105 NE 8th Street, Morton, Texas, 79347.
