Obituary for Jose Salas
Jose died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Morton. He was born June 4, 1937 in Runge, Texas to Manuel and Regina (Adame) Salas. He married Mary Duron in Morton on July 10, 1960.
Jose was a very hardworking family man. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Lela Salas, Fannie Sisneros and Nacha Jurado.
Jose is survived by his wife, Mary; his three sons, Joe Adrian Salas and his wife, Kelly of Wichita Falls, Texas, Albert Salas of Morton, Texas and Jorge Salas of Arlington, Texas; one sister, Cuca Morin of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Michael Salas of Littlefield, Texas and Manuel Salas of Michigan; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 105 NE 8th Street, Morton, Texas, 79346.
