Tribute to Twila

I first had the pleasure to meet Twila 16 years ago as a school nurse. She was more than just a blessing at work. I soon realized she was God's divine appointment in my life. She soon became a true friend, my spiritual mom, my personal cheerleader, an intercessor & a prayer partner. She was a woman of great valor & Christian integrity. I liked & loved the Jesus she reflected! Twila was, also, a gift to this community's health workers, the Region 17's nurses & her peers. She was an integral part in influencing the quality & excellance of public school health in this region largely due to the selfess hours she served above & beyond the call-of-duty. In retirement Twila also served with the same commitment to excellance. She recruited me to attend bible classes alongside her through Prepare Internat'l Ministries. What an adventure she started~ I can still hear her laughing. She left a huge footprint in my heart & life. I miss her sorely now, but I look forward to spending an eternity with her (at the feet of Jesus) picking up where we left off. . .... as Twila said "the BEST IS YET TO COME!!"
