Teressa Sepulveda Marquez died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Morton at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 16 days. She was born March 27, 1956 in Bledsoe, Texas to Ramon and Juanita (Gutierrez) Sepulveda. She married Antonio G. Marquez in Morton, Texas. After his death in 2007, Teressa married Enrique Mendoza in Morton on July 18, 2016.

Teressa was a homemaker and a member of the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton as well as the Guadalupanes. and the Arise Program from St. Ann's. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Antonio; her parents; and two brothers, Jose Sepulveda and Ramon Sepulveda Jr.

Teressa is survived by her husband, Enrique Mendoza; her two sons, Jose Antonio Marquez of Morton, Texas and Jose Angel Marquez and his wife, Samantha of Morton, Texas; her three daughters, Nancy Marquez of Slaton, Texas, Lorina Hernandez and her husband, Nick of Sundown, Texas and Melissa Marquez and her husband, Alex of Seagraves, Texas; her four sisters, Louisa Garcia of Morton, Texas, Tonia Bihl of Whiteface, Texas, Juanita Bihl of Bledsoe, Texas and Frankie Huerta of Levelland, Texas; her four brothers, Alfred Sepulveda of Levelland, Texas, Albert Sepulveda of Morton, Texas, Arturo Sepulveda of Taft, Texas and Lupe Sepulveda of Littlefield, Texas; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
