Lee Filmore Bilbrey died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Bledsoe at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 28 days. He was born August 10, 1930 in Lovington, New Mexico to Marion and Alpha (Epperson) Bilbrey. He married Barbara McCamish in Bledsoe on July 2, 1954.

Lee proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed ranching and being with his cattle. He loved reading and crossword puzzles. During his younger years, Lee loved surveying and maps. But most of all, Lee treasured time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Lee is survived by his wife, Barbara; his two sons, Donal Bilbrey of Bledsoe, Texas and Richard Bilbrey of Morton, Texas; his two daughters, Leesa Davis and her husband, Francie of Bledsoe, Texas and Karen Bilbrey of Austin, Texas; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Bledsoe Baptist Church, 403 South Adams Street, Bledsoe, Texas, 79314 or your favorite charity.
