Lester M. Morgan died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 29 days. He was born December 27, 1933 in Seymour, Texas to Marion Martin and Ethel Jaunita (Jones) Morgan. He married Marjorie Webb in Matador, Texas on May 29, 1953.

Lester retired as a sales manager with Coca Cola after 42 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Muleshoe. Lester is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Edna Mae Welch; and three brothers, Bill Morgan, Jerry Morgan and Ricky Morgan.

Lester is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his daughter, Pam Thomason and her husband, Charles of Muleshoe, Texas; two sisters, Lucille Barker of Midland, Texas and Anita Moss of Burkburnett, Texas; one brother, Bud Morgan if Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandchildren, Brandon Thomason and his wife, Jana and Bradley Thomason and his wife, Kala; and four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Thomason, Braylee Thomason, Seth Thomason and Kinley Thomason.
