Carlos Guerra Jr. died Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Muleshoe, Texas at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 11 days. He was born June 6, 1947 in Weslaco, Texas to Carlos and Cleo (Flores) Guerra. He married Maria L. Martinez in Dimmitt, Texas on November 23, 1970.

Carlos was a truck driver and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Concha Fuentes and Gracie Montoya; and one brother, Sonny Guerra.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Maria; his five sons, Raul Guerra and his wife, Laura of Burleson, Texas, Alfred Guerra and his wife, Clarisa of Houston, Texas, Adrian and his wife, Letty of Red Oak, Iowa, Guadalupe Guerra and his wife, Rosemary of Muleshoe, Texas and Carlos Guerra III and his wife, Linda of Red Oak, Iowa; his daughter, Michelle Guerra of Muleshoe, Texas; his sister, Mandy Digeni of Euless, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
