Jacinto S. Bara died Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Vernon, Texas at the age of 93 years, 2 months and 4 days. He was born July 30, 1925 in Uvalde, Texas to Monceis and Ramona (Saiz) Bara. He was married to Nicolosa Rosas. After she passed away in 1993, Jacinto married Laverne Sitz.

Jacinto served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for James Crane Tire Co. for many years. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nicolosa; four sons, Hector Bara, Fred Bara, Ernest Bara and Ray Bara; one daughter, Erlinda Bara; his parents; five sisters, Lupe Flores, Rosa Cortez, Lisa Lacoser, Janice Flores and Esther Rodriguez; and two brothers, Moncies Cheve Bara and Adolfo Bara.

Jacinto is survived by his two sons, Gerald Bara and his wife, Patsy of Denton, Texas and Roy Bara and his wife, Betty of Amarillo, Texas; his sister, Feliz Carrion of Muleshoe, Texas; his brother, Joe Bara of Muleshoe, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
