Teresa LaVerne Nix, age 71, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 26, 2015 in Dallas, Texas.
She was born September 21, 1943 in Seymour, Texas to Trueman and Frances (Slayton) Nix. Teresa will be buried at Enochs Cemetery.

Teresa graduated from Littlefield High School in 1962. She then attended and graduated from Texas Tech Methodist School of Medical Technology in 1969. She worked in the medical field for 40 years. Teresa loved gardening and her pets. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include, her sister, Beverly Turney and her husband, Dennis of Muleshoe, Texas; a niece, Melinda Locke and her husband, Chris of Sudan, Texas; a nephew, Monty Turney and his wife, Nicole of Littlefield, Texas; a great-niece, Chelsea Locke of Lubbock, Texas; and three great-nephews, Branden Locke of Sudan, Texas, Stetson Turney of Littlefield, Texas and Scott English of Littlefield, Texas.
