Erlinda died May 26, 2015 at her home in Whiteface. She was born January 9, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska to Rafael and Aurora (Bautista) Carrasco. She married Frank Trinidad in Morton, Texas on October 5, 1963.

Erlinda taught school at Morton ISD for 25 years. She was an avid reader. She was also very involved in her grandchildren’s activities. Erlinda was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton.

Survivors include, her husband, Frank; five sons, Frank Trinidad and his wife, MaryAnn of Wolforth, Texas, Toby Trinidad and his wife, Lucky of Grand Prairie, Texas, James Trinidad and his wife, Margaret of Lubbock, Texas, Joseph Trinidad of Whiteface, Texas and Jason Trinidad of Whiteface, Texas; one daughter, Kristine Rodriguez and her husband, Julio of Lubbock, Texas; a sister, Isabell Alvarez of Morton, Texas; a brother, David Carrasco and his wife, Delia of Tyler, Texas; fifteen grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
